Berkeley County First Steps is a state-based initiative dedicated to preparing young children for school and lifelong success. Our mission is to support the healthy development of children ages 0–5 in Berkeley County by providing resources, guidance, and leadership to their families. We work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure children enter school healthy, confident, and ready to learn. Our programs include home visiting services, a doula program, and partnerships with local child care centers to strengthen early childhood education and family support systems.
