The giveaway is open to local businesses serving Summerville and the surrounding Lowcountry area.
Entrants must be at least 18 years old and must own, operate, or be authorized to represent the business entered.
Only one standard entry per business is permitted.
Businesses that currently hold a Founding Member listing with What’s Up Summerville are not eligible to win a Premium Listing through this promotion.
The giveaway begins Wednesday, August 19, 2026 and ends Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
Entries received after 6:00 PM on August 23 will not be eligible.
To receive one standard entry, participants must:

Entrants may receive one additional entry by voluntarily joining the What’s Up Summerville email list through the giveaway entry form.
Joining the email list is optional and is not required to receive the standard giveaway entry.
Participants who join the email list may unsubscribe from future emails at any time.
A maximum of two entries per eligible business may be received: one standard entry and one email-list bonus entry.

One Year of a What’s Up Summerville Premium Business Listing
Approximate retail value: $150.
The Premium Business Listing includes the features offered as part of the Premium plan at the time the prize is awarded.
The prize does not include Founding Member status, a Founding Member badge, Founding Member-exclusive benefits, or custom video promotion.
The prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash or applied toward another product or service.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the giveaway period.
Entrants who qualify for the optional email-list bonus will receive one additional entry in the drawing.
What’s Up Summerville will verify that the selected winner has satisfied the required entry conditions before the prize is awarded.
The selected winner will be contacted using the information provided on their giveaway entry form.
The selected winner will have 72 hours from the time of notification to respond.
If the selected winner cannot be reached, does not respond within 72 hours, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or cannot be verified as following both required social media accounts, another winner may be selected.
What’s Up Summerville reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, submitted using false information, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules.
What’s Up Summerville reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent the promotion from being conducted as intended.
By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules and agree that decisions made by What’s Up Summerville regarding eligibility and administration of the giveaway are final.
Information submitted through the giveaway form will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the winner, and maintain appropriate giveaway records.
Entrants who separately select the optional email-list bonus entry consent to receive emails from What’s Up Summerville and may unsubscribe at any time.
Information will not be added to the What’s Up Summerville email list unless the entrant affirmatively selects the email-list option.
