Nexton’s commercial lineup is growing again, with six businesses now open or on the way across dining, wellness and pet-friendly recreation.
The community announced the additions on Aug. 24. Four are already welcoming customers, one has an early September opening date, and one is still listed as coming soon. Here’s the latest on each location.
Dog Park Bar Nexton at GoDog Nexton
Status: Open
Address: 652 Scholar Way, Summerville
The Dog Park Bar is the newest piece of the GoDog Nexton campus, which opened its daycare, boarding and bathing operation last year. The off-leash social area opened July 29 and gives dog owners a place to grab food or a drink while their dogs play in a supervised space.
The park is membership-based, so it’s worth checking GoDog’s current entry requirements before bringing your pup.
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Status: Open
Address: 1275 Nexton Parkway, Summerville
Chipotle is now open along Nexton Parkway, adding another quick lunch and dinner option to the area. The fast-casual chain serves its familiar build-your-own burritos, bowls, tacos, salads and quesadillas.
A note for anyone searching by address: Nexton’s Aug. 24 announcement lists the new restaurant at 1275 Nexton Parkway.
Bodenvy
Status: Open
Address: 651 Scholar Way, Summerville
Bodenvy has opened across Scholar Way from the GoDog campus. The wellness business focuses on non-surgical body sculpting and offers services including CoolSculpting, skin-tightening treatments, muscle toning and body-composition scans.
The Summerville location is currently taking appointments and lists hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
CAVA
Status: Open
Address: 124 North Creek Drive, Summerville
CAVA opened its North Creek location this summer. The Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant lets customers build bowls and pitas with greens, grains, proteins, dips, dressings and toppings.
It’s open daily and joins the growing group of restaurants serving the Nexton and Cane Bay side of Summerville.
Dulce Churros Ice Cream + Cocktails
Status: Opening Wednesday, Sept. 2
Address: 1288 Nexton Parkway, Summerville
After a long stretch of “coming soon,” Dulce Churros Ice Cream + Cocktails now has an opening date. Nexton says the new One Nexton location is scheduled to open Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Dulce’s menu goes beyond its name, with Mexican-style ice cream, churros and other desserts alongside coffee, specialty cocktails and savory choices. This will be the concept’s third Lowcountry location.
As of Aug. 26, Dulce’s own website still labels the Summerville location “coming soon,” so the Sept. 2 date is the one to circle for now.
The DRIPBaR
Status: Coming soon
Address: 1565 Rose Drive, Summerville
The DRIPBaR is planned for 1565 Rose Drive and will add another wellness-focused business to the Nexton area. The franchise offers IV hydration and vitamin infusions, intramuscular shots and other services administered in a clinical setting.
Nexton’s current business directory still lists this location as coming soon, and an opening date has not been announced.
What’s open now — and what’s next
If you’re keeping track, Dog Park Bar Nexton, Chipotle, Bodenvy and CAVA are open now. Dulce is scheduled to open Sept. 2, while The DRIPBaR remains in the coming-soon column.
