The Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission (CCPRC) is a special purpose governmental agency that manages and operates a diverse system of regional parks, beach parks, historic sites, fishing piers, and recreational facilities throughout Charleston County, South Carolina. CCPRC oversees more than 11,000 acres of public land and provides residents with access to outdoor recreation, environmental education, and community programming. In addition to maintaining county parks and public beach access points, the commission offers festivals, camps, classes, and year-round recreational programs designed to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors across the Lowcountry.
