The Spitfire Grill: A Musical
February 1 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm

A warm, folk-tinged musical with a big heart, The Spitfire Grill follows Percy Talbott, a young woman
looking for a fresh start after a difficult past. She lands in a small, struggling town and finds work at
Hannah’s Spitfire Grill—a no-frills diner that serves as one of the last gathering places for locals
who’ve grown used to disappointment. As Percy settles into the rhythm of the town, small acts of
kindness (and a few hard truths) begin to crack open long-held hurts. The show’s mood is hopeful
and grounded, with an intimate, community-centered feel—less flashy, more emotionally resonant.
When an essay contest raffle is introduced as a way to save the grill, it becomes more than a fundraiser: it’s a catalyst that draws people together, invites outsiders in, and forces the town to imagine a
different future.
